Pianist

STEVEN BROOKS was only four years old when he was bitten by the music bug. His parents were devastated.

During his musical studies in Brussels he composed and conducted several pieces for orchestra, piano, voice and wrote two children’s musicals.

After getting bored with opera, oratorio and absurd theatre in Belgium, he moved to England to compose and play the piano for children’s ballet classes at Vacani, Marylebone Ballet school, Chelsea Ballet School and Queen’s College Preparatory School. It was for the latter that Steve composed/produced and directed his first West End production, the musical “Shadows”, which premiered in Bloomsbury theatre in June 2005.

It was ten years ago that Steve met Kezia at Vacani, and he has been driving her insane with silly piano tunes ever since.

When he isn’t acting like a loony behind a piano, you can find Steve on stage as part of the vocal group : The London Quartet.
